Advancing Your Advocacy For Adoptees Webinar Replay

Whether you are advocating for our rights, mental health or for the general public to recognise our trauma, or something else, this video is for you...

And it's designed to help you take your advocacy to the next level by drawing upon a panel whose combined wisdom exceeds over 100 years.

Join us to hear insights, tips and learnings from Dr Joyce Maguire Pavao, Moses Farrow, Susan Harris O'Connor and Sara Easterly.

Dr. Joyce Maguire Pavao, Ed.D., LCSW, LMFT, was the Founder and CEO of Center for Family Connections, Inc. (CFFC, 1995-2012) in Cambridge and New York, Founder and Director of Riverside After Adoption Consulting and Training (AACT, 2012 to 2015), PACT (Pre/Post Adoption Consulting and Training, 1982-present), and Pavao Consulting and Coaching.

Moses Farrow has led a career in mental health for over 20 years, where he aligns with his childhood passion to help others, serves at-risk populations and advocates for human rights. “Being adopted transracially, transnationally from South Korea has given me a unique perspective that I could no longer ignore or deny. Now I speak up for my truth and for those who have yet to find theirs.”

Sara Easterly is an adoptee and the author of books that include newly released Adoption Unfiltered co-authored with birth parent Kelsey Vander Vliet Ranyard and adoptive parent Lori Holden, as well as the award-winning spiritual memoir, Searching for Mom (Heart Voices, 2019). Sara’s essays, articles, and book reviews have been widely published.

Susan Harris O’Connor, MSW is a pioneer and national leading voice on transracial adoption. Her groundbreaking autobiographical narratives are compiled in The Harris Narratives: An Introspective Study of a Transracial Adoptee. Since 1996, they have been performed over 100 times as keynote addresses, lectures and featured performances.
